How Much Money Should I Bring?

We recommend a minimum of $250 for food and beverages, depending on your dietary needs. Breakfast is provided daily at each hotel, and the Motivational Foundation will sponsor dinner on Wednesday night.

Estimated Breakdown:
$15 minimum per lunch
$20 minimum per dinner

You may also wish to bring extra cash for campus souvenirs or additional activities throughout the trip.

Is There a Dress Code?

Yes. We ask that students avoid clothing that exposes the midriff. Pants must be secured so that undergarments are not visible. Clothing that displays, advertises, or advocates the use of alcohol, cannabis, tobacco, or any illegal substances/activities is not allowed.

Swim attire: Must be modest and should not expose private areas. No thong swimsuits permitted.

In the Event of an Emergency

Each student is assigned a chaperone. Their phone numbers are provided on the chaperone list. You can also contact the Motivational Foundation staff at 404-450-6800.

What Do the Sleeping Arrangements Look Like?

Students have been paired based on their preferred roommate listed on the registration form. For students who did not list a roommate, our staff paired individuals. Based on hotel availability:

  • Female chaperones are placed on the same floor as female students.
  • Male chaperones are placed on a separate floor with male students.

All rooms will have a minimum of two double beds and, in some cases, an additional double pull-out sofa to give students enough space.
